The Den - Doggie's Den


Doggies Den is Germantown’s first and only all play daycare facility for dogs. We are conveniently located at the Corner of Wisteria Drive and Rt. 118 (less than 1 mile from I-270). The Den offers: - Over 4500 square feet of indoor cageless play space for supervised play and exercise with canine companions - Climate controlled playrooms with plenty of cool water - Real time, live internet viewing of the Den - Tons of toys, balls, chewies and play equipment to suit every dog’s desires - Lots of petting and bellyrubbing from our caring den counselors - Quiet time for doggie dreaming and time outs (if needed) - Feeding and administering of oral medications (if necessary and supplied) - Grooming available any day with a regular stay at the den (see fees schedule) - Field trips to a local dog park (see fees schedule) DEN SERVICES & FEES: DAYCARE FULL DAY: $ 30 1 day pass $ 27 second dog, same household PRE-PAID PACKAGE OPTIONS: must be used within TWO calendar months of purchase. $27 10 day pass (per day) $24 second dog, same household (per day) $25 20 day pass (per day) $22 second dog, same household (per day) HALF DAY: $ 20 Each day (No more than 4 hrs.) $17 second dog, same household PICK-UP or DROP OFF $7/per trip NOTE: Due to the high demand and limited space, transportation services are subject to approval by the Den Leader. Reservations are required. Preference will be given to pets attending full time. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice and no shows will be charged a full day’s fee. GROOMING Doggies Den has contracted with a local mobile groomer to provide services to our den mates. All grooming services require reservations and are only available while your dog is attending day care. Please call the Den for service availability and pricing. FIELD TRIPS For owners who really love to spoil their dog, we occasionally offer Field Trips to the Ridge Road or Black Hills doggie parks. This is a very special service for dogs that need to just let it all out and go wild. It's the perfect release for all dogs but sporting breeds will especially benefit from these outings. There's something about being outside that makes the dogs especially frisky. From the moment they hit the dirt, it's non-stop running and playing. Trips are scheduled for midmornings, require reservations and are only available while your dog is attending day care. Please call the Den for service availability and pricing. A TYPICAL DAY AT THE DEN: Dogs may be dropped off anytime between 7 am and 10 am. Upon arrival, dogs are assigned a playgroup that best suits their size, temperament and play style. Just like humans, a dog’s temperament changes throughout the day, so our counselors will alternate playgroups as needed. The dogs get to romp in the play areas, chase balls and wrestle with friends. Each dog will be walked twice a day in the nearby park. During walks basic commands are used and each dog is given individual attention. For consistency in your dog’s schedule, we would be happy to feed or administer medication with food/medicine provided from home. After a full day of playing and attention at the den, your dog can be picked up anytime between 4 pm and 7 pm for a relaxing evening at home with their favorite human companion. DEN APPLICATION: Prior to attending the den, all dogs and their owners are required to visit the den for an informal interview and review of the completed application packet. This gives you a chance to tour our facility, and it enables us to meet your dog. Our dogs’ welfare and happiness is our top priority, so we want to make sure our pack dynamic is a good fit for your dog. GENERAL GUIDELINES: All dogs must be/have: - 12 weeks of age or older - spayed or neutered –puppies under 6 months of age are exempt -written proof of up-to-date vaccinations, including rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella (kennel cough). - in good health and free from communicable disease for 30 days - on a flea control program - non-aggressive and not food or toy protective - friendly to other dogs and people To be accepted at Doggies Den, all dogs must go through this application process. It is important that the dogs in our facility interact positively with each other. During the interview, your dog’s history will be reviewed and they will be introduced to other den mates. If the dog reacts positively and meets the above listed health requirements, you are welcomed to schedule a day at the den. Interviews for new clients are given by appointment only. Please call today to set up an appointment. If possible, print & fill out the application packet and bring it with you to the interview. Written proof of vaccination should be provided at the interview. Application Packet SCHEDULING A VISIT: New Clients - To schedule a visit at Doggies Den, all dogs must be accepted through our application process (see Den Enrollment). Current Clients – Reservations are required and can be made by phone e-mail, in person, or by submitting a Reservation Calendar. Preference will be given to den mates that attend full time. Cancellations require 24-hour notice.
